Refund policy

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. In accordance with Egyptian Consumer Protection Law, our policy is designed to be fair and transparent.

1. Right of Return & Exchange 

You have the right to return or exchange any item within 14 days of receipt without providing a reason ("Change of Mind"), provided that:

  • The item is in its original condition (unworn, unwashed, and unused).

  • All original tags and packaging are intact.

  • You provide the original sales receipt or order confirmation.

  • Note: For "Change of Mind" returns, the customer is responsible for the return shipping fees.

2. Defective or Non-Conforming Items 

If the product has a manufacturing defect (e.g., a broken zipper, fabric tear, or wrong size sent), you have the right to a full refund or exchange within 30 days of receipt.

  • In this case, OwnSight will cover all shipping and return costs.

  • The refund will be processed in full, including the original shipping fee paid at the time of delivery.

3. How to Start a Return

To start a return, please contact us at ownsightt@gmail.com.

  1. Provide your order number and photos of the item.

  2. If your return is accepted, we will coordinate with our courier to pick up the item from your address.

  3. Note: Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

4. Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Per Article 13 of the Executive Regulations of Egyptian Law, certain items cannot be returned:

  • Hygienic Goods: Undergarments, lingerie, and swimwear cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a confirmed manufacturing defect.

  • Evening Wear: Dresses intended for special occasions must be returned within [24-48 hours] to ensure they remain eligible for return.

  • Custom Products: Personalized items or special orders cannot be returned.

  • Sale Items: Refunds for sale items will be based on the actual price paid at the time of purchase.

5. Refund Method (For COD Orders)

Since your order was paid via Cash on Delivery, refunds will be processed once we receive and inspect the item.

  • Refund Options: We offer refunds via Bank Transfer, InstaPay, or Mobile Wallets (e.g., Vodafone Cash).

  • Information Needed: You will be asked to provide your account details or wallet number when the return is approved.

  • Timeline: Please allow 5–10 business days for the transfer to be completed after we receive the returned product.

6. Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted and your refund is processed, place a new order.
